To Renew US passports quickly, applicant must meet the following qualifications:

-- Applicant has most recent passport is in his or her possession, AND;
-- Applicant was 16 years or older when passport was issued AND;
-- Applicant's passport was issued within the past 10 years AND;
-- Applicant's passport is not damaged.

Note: New Passport Applicants between the ages of 16 and 17 must appear with one parent to co-sign the application. For applicants under 16, click here.
Renew US Passport Process Overview
Applicant must gather documents listed below to send to Sierra PVS for processing.

Applicant will receive their new passport book with a new passport number and the old passport will be returned.

|
|
|
Send us your expired Passport. We will return your old Passport along with your new Passport. Note: The new Passport will have a different Passport number. If you do not have your Passport, you will need to apply for Replacing a Lost or Stolen Passport |

Passport Photos
|
|
|
You will be required to submit two (2) identical passport photographs. Photographs must be taken by a passport photographer. Home made photos are not acceptable and most often cause a delay in passport issuance.

Government Fees
|
|
|
A check or money order made payable to "U.S. Department of State" for $170. This fee may also be paid online via credit card when filling out our online order form below.
NOTE: If paying by check:
Please include your date of birth on the memo line of the check. Starter checks for new bank accounts are NOT acceptable.
Although it is recommended that your check have your name pre-printed on it, if submitting a business check or someone else's check, make sure to include your name, address and date of birth on the check. Money orders must contain your information on them.

Letter of Authorization
|
|
|
A letter of Authorization gives us the authority to submit your application and pick-up your passport when issued. We are only allowed to submit a certain number of passports each day, and the additional names on the additional authorization letters are for our partner companies under whose name we may submit your application in order to provide the fastest available service.
NOTE: PLEASE SUBMIT 2 COPIES. Each copy MUST contain your original signature preferably in Blue Ink. Fax or photo copies of your signature are NOT acceptable - both letters must contain original signatures.

Proof of Departure
|
|
|
Submit a copy of your computer-generated itinerary or your ticket from an airline, travel agency, or online booking agency showing your departure from the U.S. FAX or photocopies are acceptable.
If you are unable to provide a trip itinerary, we can still assist you without one. It may take one or two additional days to process your request.

If You Have Changed Your Name
|
|
|
If you have legally changed your name and you wish to have your new Passport issued in your new name, you must submit an original or certified copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree, or court order showing the name change. Your new Passport will be issued in your new name.

Additional

|
If you have a temporary Passport, issued at a US Embassy overseas or other situation causing a short term Passport issuance, you must include a certified birth certificate, past US Passport, or Naturalization Certificate.

You must complete the Order Form. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy in the envelope you ship to us and keep one copy for your records.
Processing times are business days and do not include shipping time. Keep this in mind when placing your order. Orders are filled based on departure date. For example, a traveler leaving in 10 calendar days that selects 5 - 7 day service may experience fulfillment times of up to 11 calendar days including shipping.
